shade us all angelines

I dwell myself in colour,
and paint my face with tar,
do my chin with mustard,
while chrome my philtrum with flour,
I dye my nose with chocolate,
and gloss my cheek with tangerine,
make the rainbow envious,
and tease her with a grin,
It’s the sun that gives us our hue,
and shade us all angelines,
that gods flood our hearths with roses,
and fill our thoughts with dreams

why then,
are you so picky about green?
