If I am not here tomorrow

If I am not here tomorrow,
and you still owe me a ten,
need not you be worry,
just keep it with you my dear friend.
If I am not here tomorrow,
and you still owe me a twenty,
need not you be worry,
buy a pint, have a drink, lament or be merry.
If I am not here tomorrow,
and you still owe me a thirty,
I may raise up just awhile off the pyre,
asking you for one more pint of beer,
asking your company, for one last time,
but this is unlikely,
so need not you be worry,
just like the ten,
or twenty, lament, be merry or just keep it with you my dear friend.

Inspire by a poem I read sometime ago which I couldn't remember, Mantin, October, 2021
